Canyoning also known as Canyoneering, involves rapelling(abseiling) down waterfalls, rock, sliding down rocks, swimming in rivers, walking, jumping off waterfalls and rocks into water, whilst following a river downstream. The rivers are usually situated in Canyons hence the name Canyoning or Canyonnering.
Many canyons in the world offer natural waterslides, rock pools to jump in and lagoons to swim in. It's basically a natural waterslide park!
